Join us in presenting a guide to taking the first steps to actively begin community engagement with with Missoula Mayor’s Office, and with Missoula City Council, about the need and responsibility to make plant medicines more accessible and integrated into our local communities.

A Local Resolution happens at the local (city or county) level. Cities and counties have the authority to make recommendations or voice their opinions on matters that are not within their jurisdiction, such as federal drug policy or foreign wars. They do this by majority vote of their voting body in support of a Resolution.

We will go over examples ways that individuals in our Montana communities can actively advocate for local Resolutions, to ensure each individual’s right to have a direct relationship with nature without interference from authorities or corporations, and for our communal rights to develop systems of community-based healing and education.
